Crathornes in Worcestershire

Most of the 151 IGI Crathorne records for Worcestershire are for the extended family of Joseph Crathorne and Ann Cliff, who moved to the county in about 1775.  As Kings Norton is now in Birmingham, and many of their descendants moved to the growing city, their story is told on the Birmingham pages.

The only early record is of Elizabeth Crathorne marrying on 20 November 1556 in 'Fillongley Worcestershire' - but this is simply wrong as Fillongley is in Warwickshire.  And the more likely date of her wedding is 28 July 1572...
