Crathornes in Lancashire

Although there are 12 records on the IGI for Lancashire, most are post-1800. There are just four records before then, and all are marriages:

Kath Craythorne married Thomas Pulleine at Carleton in about 1677.

John Hall Crowthorn married Lydia Robinson at Ashton-under-Lyne on 11 April 1710

Cornelius Crathorn married Mary Callow at Liverpool on 11 November 1762

Rebecca 'Crathron' married Matthew Ant in Manchester on 27 December 1790

Strangely, there are no births or christenings recorded before 1800, so whether the couple were childless, or moved rapidly out of the county, we don't yet know.
